"Hydrosphere Research provides excellent service and meets our bioassay test needs with timeliness, professionalism, and flexibility. We have not had to repeat a single test due to unacceptable test criteria. Hydrosphere Research has been responsive to our need for acceptable and appropriate data and likewise to the needs of FDEP. Their mobile bioassay laboratory was adapted to our specific need for a chronic flow through test. These tests were conducted according to our plant's strict timetable and without incident."

Hydrosphere Research Bioassay Laboratory

Sea TurtleFormerly a bioassay laboratory with CH2M Hill, we have been performing accurate toxicity testing since 1986 and have been helping client organizations meet EPA standards, comply with NPDES permits, and make a significant improvement in the environment.

Employees bought the bioassay lab from CH2M Hill in 1995 and renamed it Hydrosphere Research. We continue to provide state-of-the-art services and facilities to assist our clients in identification and monitoring of toxic discharges.

The expertise and diligence of the staff have earned Hydrosphere Research a reputation for providing the highest quality of bioassay and aquatic toxicity testing services. We pay careful attention to the individual needs of our clients. We consult with you on toxicity issues and provide free permit reviews and service estimates.

Hydrosphere Research was the first commercial bioassay laboratory to be certified by the State of Florida Department of Health as meeting all requirements for the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Certification (NELAC) standards.
